Some people think that pink is the colour of femininity, but according to various studies on fashion history, pink was generally a colour for boys. A famous and reputable magazine in 1918 even advised parents that their sons should wear pink and their daughters blue.

After the Second World War, people were bombarded with marketing on what to wear and what not to. Many fashion historians believe that colour identification for males and females were not put on a highlight before the 20th century, and parents back then would prefer neutral colours like white and grey for their children.
Pink is such a distinctly charming colour that it can’t be exclusively owned by a particular group. The colour pink is for everyone to appreciate!
That being said, pink has become so popular in the entertainment industry, that several fictional characters rose to fame because of it – or perhaps it’s just coincidental they were coloured pink. Sugar, spice, and everything nice! Blossom is one of the 3 superhero sisters, known as the Powerpuff Girls (and its acting leader as well). She wears a pink dress that has a black stripe in the middle with white tights and black Mary Janes.

The lovable yet cowardly dog, Courage, is in our list. He is a timid pink dog who is always fearful of many things. He eventually overcomes his paranoias to save his owners Muriel and Eustace from ghosts, monsters, and aliens that occasionally invade their farm.

• Mew
Mew is a pink, bipedal Pokémon with mammalian features. Its fur is so fine and thin, that it can only be seen under a microscope. Mew is said to have the DNA of every single Pokémon in its body, allowing it to learn and use the attack of any known Pokémon.
• Jigglypuff
Jigglypuff is a pink Pokémon with a spherical body. When its huge eyes waver, it sings a mysteriously soothing melody that lulls its enemies to sleep. Jigglypuff can deflate until it is flat, and is able to float by drawing extra air into its body.
• Stufful
Stufful is a small, quadrupedal Pokémon resembling a bear cub. Its fluffy fur is a delight to pet, but carelessly reaching out to touch this Pokémon could result in painful retaliation. Stufful's flailing is powerful enough to break thick tree trunks.
