Cowabunga! Kids who grew up in the 80s and 90s are having a fantastic time at present, as many of their favourite cartoon shows and comics back then are being re-made into movies. Even old-time film franchises which we thought have ended are now coming back with either reboots or unexpected sequels (and prequels too). Surprisingly, our favourite timeless toys are also being made into box office flicks!
Just take look at the ever-popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! It’s so awesome that it has been jumping from one media to another. Many kids back then got to know our favourite pizza-loving anthropomorphic turtles through the classic animated series that ran from 1987 to 1996. Yet, did you know that TMNT started out as black and white comics created by comic book artists Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird under Mirage Studios, the comic book company they founded in the comfort of their homes in 1983? TMNT comics issue #1 was published in 1984.

When Is the New TMNT Movie Coming Out?
The new TMNT movie is titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. For Australian viewers, we may have to wait till it comes out in cinemas on 07 September 2023. So there’s more time to re-orient our attention and rekindle our childhood affection with our favourite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

Their new friend April O’Neil helps them to take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.

2. TMNT Mutant Mayhem Leonardo the Leader
Get ready for the Mutant Mayhem, the new CG animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie! Leonardo is the Turtles’ leader in blue, and now he’s a hopeful student in high school. As Leo and his brothers start to leave the nest—er, the sewer—he’s set on transforming them into a crime-fighting team that he can lead to victory. With some help from their rat-dad Splinter, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be unstoppable! Leonardo figure is 4.5” tall and designed to match his movie character. 3. TMNT Mutant Mayhem Raphael the Angry One
Raphael has a big attitude and big dreams, which are (in no particular order) to punch someone so hard they throw up and to be a mixed martial arts fighter! Together, he and his brothers leave their sewer for the city above, fighting crime and learning that there is no "i" in team (even if Raph insists that there is technically a "me" in it).
