One of the reasons why toys are so much fun to collect is that they reflect the fun and exciting side of normal daily life – and that includes entertainment like watching our favourite movies. Who doesn’t want to be happy? Movies are a great form of entertainment that people enjoy and love to talk about!

We at Mr Toys are always up to what our customers like, which includes great movies and (of course) toys! Talking about great movies, 2021 is a year we can be excited about. Though many of us are still not as mobile as normal, there are many fantastic films that we can all enjoy in the comforts of our homes. Thanks to the magic of internet streaming services!

Zack Snyder’s Justice League

Most of us are familiar with (and have likely watched) the 2017 Justice League. The thing is – fans all over the world have clamoured to restore the version of its original director, Zack Snyder. After a long wait, DC and Warner gave in and this year we have the chance to enjoy a 4-hour long film of Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Expect to see a lot of never-before scenes not shown in the first JL film!

Black Widow

She may have sacrificed her life in Avengers: Endgame, but we haven’t seen the last of Black Widow. Scarlet Johansson reprises her role as Natasha Romanoff a.k.a. Black Widow in a new Marvel movie featuring her adventures between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. She finds herself alone and pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must confront her dark, unsettled past when she was still an assassin before she became an Avenger.

Spider-Man: No Way Home

Peter Parker continues his adventures as a teenager in high school while being a superhero on the side, catching criminals and saving people as the spectacular Spider-Man. Not much details are said about this new Marvel film, but what we know is that we will see Tom Holland again as Peter Parker and joined by the original actors comprising a great cast for an amazing Spider-Man movie sequel.

The Matrix 4

Movie fans know that the Matrix films are a trilogy. It may not be so anymore with the upcoming fourth instalment of the franchise, starring Keanu Reeves as Neo and Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity. Matrix 4 is expected to be shown in December of this year.

Space Jam: A New Legacy

Move over Michael Jordan! LeBron James is taking over as Bugs Bunny’s buddy in a new movie entitled Space Jam: A New Legacy. It’s Toons versus Goons! NBA superstar, LeBron James teams up with Looney Tunes folks to rescue his son from a weird Matrix-like kingpin. To do so, they must win a basketball match against the Doom Squad with rules unlike any other basketball game. Expect to see some new and old, yet interesting characters to appear in this movie!

Ghostbusters: After Life

The real Ghostbusters are back with a new chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe! Here’s the synopsis from Ghostbusters.com, “When a single mum and her 2 children arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.” Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson, actors of the original Ghostbusters are expected to be in the film.

PAW Patrol: The Movie

“No job is too big, no pup is too small. PAW Patrol is on the roll!” Children – and adults who grew up watching the TV series – will be excited to know there’s a PAW Patrol animated movie that will be shown this year. Ryder and his pups are going back to Adventure City to save its residents from the impeding chaos brought about by Mayor Humdinger’s selfish plans.

Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway

Peter Rabbit gets a sequel entitled “The Runaway.” Human characters from the first movie, Thomas and Bea, have tied the knot and are now living with Peter and his Rabbit family. Bored of life in the garden, Peter goes on a vacay to the big city, where he meets louche characters and finds himself bringing chaos to his friends and family.

Cruella

Another live-action version of a Disney animated classic is here to entertain Disney fans and movie goers all around the world. It’s the 101 Dalmatians! But wait! Hasn’t that been re-booted as a live-action film back in 1996? Yes, indeed… but this time, the story is about the villain (and how she became one).. Hmm, no wonder the movie’s title is named after Ms De Vil! It would be interesting to see a movie about the backstory of such an interesting Disney villain.
